BioGiven that the last time I updated this was pushing four years ago, it feels like it's time to give it a quick polish.
It seems unlikely that anyone happening across this journal doesn't actually know me already, but just to account for all eventualities: I'm a games programmer working at Frontier Developments in Cambridge (we made LostWinds for WiiWare recently; it's pretty cool). This occupies enough of my time to render me totally apathetic outside work hours, which is thus mostly spent playing games (console, board, or Magic: the Gathering mostly, these days), lounging around socialising with housemates or hanging out on IRC, or reading (the latter of which happens far less frequently than it should). Yeah, I'm a geek.
Things that I don't really do but would like to claim that I actually do include martial arts (still need to get myself signed up with another submission fighting club some time), playing the piano, actually talking to friends on MSN, and writing (outside NaNoWriMo).
That aside, let's fill a few lines with random facts.

- My favourite book of all time is probably still Shogun by James Clavell.
- I'm entirely too fond of rabbits and would love to get a couple when/if I actually get a place of my own.
- Occasionally I try drawing. It never lasts long.
- I need to stop renting and get a place of my own.
- I still at least want to believe I'm good enough at writing to get something in print some day.
- I'm pretty good at Rock Band (and can't stand Guitar Hero 3+).
- My Bacon number is apparently three.
